James was commissioned by Michael G. Brown (www.michaelgbrown.co.uk), an artist/sculptor to design and produce a website to showcase his work in 2010 and again in 2011 for a 'refresh' which improved how the content was displayed, as per se of the artist' instructions.

A commission by Keyservice Ltd to design and produce a website that would sell the products range, and to let potential clients get in touch with them via the website. Keyservice has commissioned James again, to produce a new website, which is under development at the moment.

James decided to make a sunset scene with bison in Africa's wilderness, in a specific style which was based on a photograph from the National Geographic. This was sketched on paper, then the outlines was made in Illustrator, and then James used Photoshop for the final touches.

As part of James' childhood, Disney movies were a great source of entertainment. Thumper, from Bambi... James thought it'd be cool to make a rabbit illustration with boxing gloves. This is the creative outlet of James Loveridge, a web designer who has been creating and tinkering with functional, yet beautiful websites since graduating from Roehampton University, London with a BSc in Film Studies with Internet & Multimedia Computing in 2008. Based in Kings Langley with over 2 years of freelance experience, James can offer a unique perspective when it comes to producing websites for clients.
This website is based on an ideal where examples of the work produced for clients or personal projects takes place as a showpiece of the website, not the design of the portfolio. The website is based on a 960 grid system, which improves accessibility and maximises the use of space. It is written in the latest web standards, i.e. HTML5 and CSS3.
